Default CS5 Illustrator

Anyone here have the new CS5 illustrator?

I dont seem to have an application bar (bar below the menus bar (file, edit, etc...)
anyone know how i turn this on/ have this display.

I'm trying to get the live trace option but am failing badly...

If you can buy a paid one, then it would be good for you to have it up. here is the link to buy new one :- http://www.adobe.com/products/illustrator/

You don't. You can in Flash, but not Illustrator to my knowledge. CS5 just shipped I think so I doubt many people have it (I ordered my copy on Thursday last week and I don't have it yet and I am getting it digitally).

What you can do is click the object. You will see two colors in boxes (in color palette or on the left side in the tools). The top one is the fill and the bottom one is the stroke.

Did you download the given link of illustrator by Adobe? Is it working for you?

I find no need to chase Adobe's latest and greatest releases. I have versions of 2, 3, and 4 on various computers and they all work great still.

I've fixed the problem now, Adobe sent me another copy; which is working fine!!

Its the full version of Creative Suite 5, its to with a competetion i won some years back.

The prize was Illustrator for life, but due to the issues i had this time with the installation they sent me the full Creative Suite
